SPOKANE, Wash. – Several players were ejected during a ballgame between the Spokane Indians and the Vancouver Canadians after a brawl broke out.
Zach Cone grounded into a force out at second base. He had an issue with Vancouver’s Jonathan Berti. First they pushed each other, then started throwing bunches.
That triggered a bench-clearing brawl at Avista Stadium.
It took ten minutes before the game started back up again.
Odor and pitcher Matt West were booted for Spokane. West dropped a Vancouver player with a punch when it seemed like things were settled.
Suspensions are likely to come.
