CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – A Boston area artist's pet project is a shining example to others trying to go green.
He's created a lamppost in a dog park that is powered by dog poop.
Matthew Mazzotta says he took manure and placed it in a tank so it would produce methane, which is then used to generate heat.
Pet owners seem to love the invention and say it has given them a great way to dispose of their pet's waste.
