Home Team Harvest is coming up Saturday, December 4 and KING 5 has the goal of raising 2.7 million meals for Washington residents in need.
We're getting a huge helping hand from District 751 Machinists, who've been busy collecting food and money.
The Union will also have over 100 volunteers spread around the region at the Home Team Harvest collection sites.
It's easy this year to donate from home. Simply text the word "Hometeam" to 85944 and a $10 donation will go to Home Team Harvest - that $10 can provide 45 meals for hungry families.
