A mother and child cling to life following a alcohol-related double fatality in Seattle's Wedgwood neighborhood on Monday. The head of the UW Alcohol & Drug Abuse Institute said there is an increasing chance of such tragedies with every DUI a driver gets.

Dr. Dennis Donovan is the director of the University of Washington's Alcohol and Drug Abuse Institute. Appearing on KING5 Morning News, Dr. Donovan said there is an increasing chance of such tragedies with every DUI a person obtains.
