Some Seattle businesses are already expecting a Seahawks schedule boost.
The Silver Cloud Inn, nestled between Century Link Field and Safeco Field, says it brought in extra staff to handle the expected hotel reservations.

“We don't build a church just for Easter, but we have other days we plan. It's all hands on deck,” says General Manager Bill Weise about the expected crush of calls and requests for Seahawk weekends.
The hotel, with just over 200 rooms, fills up for the football weekends. Weise says this year should be no different, and the SilverCloud website has been prepped for reservation requests as well.
“We have people that have gone and booked every week,” says Weise. He says the room rate for those weekend is a little bit more than usual and roughly $200 to $300 a night.
Seattle based Epic Seats was planning on posting tickets the moment the schedule was released. General Manager James Kimmel says demand for the season opener was expected to be unusually high.
“We expect it will be the highest demand we'll ever seen for a game, in the regular season,” said Kimmel in his Pioneer Square office, “People want to be a part of it. It’s like the parade all over again, capturing the moment of being the NFL champion.”
