One lane of westbound State Route 18 is back open after a logging truck that lost its load was pushed to the side of the road.

The ramp from State Route 181 to westbound SR 18 is open, but the ramp from southbound State Route 167 to westbound SR 18 is still blocked

A logging truck lost its load on SR 18 in Auburn and blocked westbound lanes earlier Wednesday morning.

It happened around 10 a.m. just past the SR 167 interchange. Westbound SR 18 to SR 167, SR 167 to westbound SR 18 and SR 181 to westbound SR 18 were all closed during the cleanup.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.

It added to a brutal morning of traffic in the Puget Sound area. A FedEx semi-truck crashed and caught fire on I-5 in Seattle. Several other collisions and drivers choosing alternate routes led to gridlock across the region.
