All lanes of southbound Interstate 5 at State Route 530 are now open after a fatal collision.

Traffic was backed up as much as four miles after the crash blocked or partially blocked all three lanes.

Just before 10 a.m. there was a one-care spin-out into the left guardrail near the Stillaguamish River. As traffic started to slow, a Honda motorcycle struck the back of a braking car. The driver of the motorcycle, a 24-year-old female from Bellingham, died.

Fire assistance and the Washington State Patrol are on scene.
