Construction season continues in Western Washington as crews works on roads around Puget Sound. There are also a few events taking place this weekend that may cause some traffic jams.
Hempfest is taking place along the Seattle waterfront all weekend. The Seattle Seahawks have a preseason home game against the Denver Broncos at 7 p.m. on Saturday. The Athleta Iron Girl Seattle Women's Triathlon is scheduled to run from 7 a.m. to noon Sunday at Genesee Park.

This weekend a few different closures could affect your travel.
The Interstate 5 off-ramps at Corson Avenue South will be closed for both directions starting at 9 a.m. Friday and reopening by 5 a.m. Monday.
On State Route 18 in Auburn, eastbound lanes between Southeast Auburn Black Diamond Road Southeast 304th Street will close from 11:59 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday and from 11 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday. The left lane will be closed two hours prior to each closure to allow crews to get equipment into place.
Additionally westbound SR 18 between State Route 161 and State Route 99 will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., with one lane closing at 9 p.m. and lanes shut down by 11 p.m. Westbound traffic will move through eastbound lanes.
State Route 99 will close as it approaches the West Seattle bridge from 10 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday. Drivers headed to and from downtown Seattle will be detoured onto East Marginal Way South.
Northbound SR 99 will close between South Nevada Street and South Royal Brougham Way overnight on Friday. The West Seattle bridge exit onto NB SR 99 will also close.
Southbound, SR 99 will also close overnight between South Atlantic Street and South Nevada Street. The section of SB SR 99 from just south of the West Seattle bridge exit to South Nevada Street will close Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to noon.
Up to three lanes of southbound Interstate 405 will close between State Route 522 and Northeast 128th Street in Bothell for lane striping. The closures will take place from 8 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday.
A ramp on State Route 520 will close in Bellevue for realignment. The ramp from westbound SR 520 to 108th Avenue Northeast from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
