A collision on northbound Interstate 5 at Southcenter caused a 7-mile backup Friday morning, but has since been cleared.

The Washington State Department of Transportation said two lanes were blocked. The collision caused the normal drive time of 35-to-40 minutes between Federal Way and Seattle to be extended to 110 minutes.

Tracy Taylor suggests using Military Road, Pacific Highway South or NB 167 as alternate routes.
