If you're going to the Seattle Boat Show or Mariners FanFest this weekend, you had better plan ahead.
Beginning Friday at 8 p.m. and ending around 11 p.m. on Sunday, the Washington Department of Transportation will close several lanes of northbound Interstate 5 between I-90 and the Washington State Convention Center for repair work.
The agency may also close some off-ramps to the stadiums. Drivers are urged to use alternate routes.
Crews will be working to fix the highway's 50-year-old expansion joints and are planning nine weekends of repair work.
A 24-hour construction hotline is open for questions and/or noise complaints. The hotline's number is 206-440-4DOT.
