SEATTLE - Some residents in the Puget Sound area reported seeing a UFO early this morning.

The UFO was spotted by people in Shoreline, Lynnwood and Marysville.

KING 5 News received reports from several people who were perplexed by the object they saw in the sky to the east of Seattle early this morning.

A Shoreline man reported that he watched the object for more than 15 minutes at about 6:25 a.m.

A Marysville woman said she saw two objects at about 7:40 a.m., also to the east. Jessica Becker took a photo of one of the objects.

The FAA said they had received no reports of an unidentified object.

Peter Davenport of the Seattle-based UFO Reporting Center said it took him about two seconds to identify the object as a jet plane-generated contrail. He said the jet set off a glimmer in the sun and the contrail follows before quickly dissipating.
