GIG HARBOR, Wash. – The former Vegas dancer was busted after living the high life, moving into homes for sale across Gig Harbor, sometimes even taking the furniture with her.

The 30-year-old Olalla woman had apparently been living in vacant homes for sale. After staying for short periods of time, Bree Dallas would steal items before leaving for the next temporary home.

Police started an investigation after a series of reported burglary and trespass reports. Similarities in the suspect's appearance and pattern of behavior led investigators to her identity and a wanted poster was issued.

But it was Bree Dallas's own phone call to the Windermere office that led police right to her.

Using another fabricated story, the she tried to gain access to another residence by contacting the real estate agent who was offering the house for sale.

But the sharp real estate agent was able to make the connection between the sweet voice on the phone and the picture on a wanted poster and officers were waiting her when she arrived and took her into custody.

Some of the stolen property was recovered upon her arrest.

Dallas admitted to most of the crimes and has been booked into the Pierce County Jail on two charges of residential burglary. Additional charges may follow.
