Video: Lacey man accused of turning bedroom into child porn studio

LACEY, Wash. – Police say a man may have turned his home into a child pornography studio, and that seven girls may have been videotaped having sex with him.

"I have a daughter who is 12 and I had no clue," said neighbor, Robert White.

William Fischer, 48, was booked into the Thurston County Jail Friday after the mother of one of the alleged victims saw an e-mail from Fischer meant for her 14-year-old daughter.

State investigators seized the computer and hard drives they say Fischer used to store and sell videos of him and the girls. Police say he also used the computer to find his victims through online chat rooms and emails. Investigators say he would pick up his victims in a van.

"He had the back of the van as a futon, a bed, with some mood lights or some lights with red covers on them," said Lt. Jim Mack, Lacey Police.

Fischer was arrested at a Lacey grocery store Friday morning after the mother tipped off police.

"Very good lesson to know what your kids are doing on the Internet and who they're talking to, because there are those predators out there," said Mack.

Fischer is being held on four counts of child rape and ten counts of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes. More charges could follow. No bail has been set.
