Missing Marysville boys found

09:58 AM PDT on Thursday, March 22, 2007

KING Staff Reports

MARYSVILLE, Wash. - Police in Marysville say two brothers who were reported missing Wednesday night have been found safe.

Justin and Jordan Johnson, ages 9 and 10, hadn't been seen since 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Sunnyside Hills area.  They were being watched by a family friend.

The two were spotted in the Lake Stevens area just before 8 a.m. by a person who had seen their pictures in a flyer and on TV. One of the boys was found at a Target store just south of Frontier Village, the other was at an Albertson's supermarket on the other side of Highway 9. Both were safe and sound.

Brothers Justine and Jordan Johnson, ages 9 and 10, were last seen in the Sunnyside Hills area around 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say this may be simply a runaway case. The older boy has run away before, but this time he took his brother with him.

Police say they do not plan to file any charges against the boys.
