Old Dog Haven reports that they had a record turnout Sunday for the third annual Walk for Old Dogs , their biggest fundraiser.

They raised well over their goal of $50,000, bringing in more than $60,000 so far.

ODH is a network of foster homes in Western Washington who care for senior dogs 8 and older. They currently have more than 200 dogs in their care - from Blaine to Vancouver, Port Orchard to Vashon to Whidbey Island - and they always have a waiting list of dogs who need homes.

ODH says bills are at $40,000 a month and this event will help raise funds.

Old and young dogs - and people of all ages - gathered at Bellevue Downtown Park for the event, which included an Old Dog Pageant. Events included Best Costume, Best Trick and Dog and Owner Look Alike contest.
