Washington State Patrol reported that two participants in the Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic collided with cars along the event's route Saturday.

The first collision took place on State Route 507 near Roy. The rider may have suffered a broken ankle and had abrasions.

The second collision happened on State Route 7 and 168th Street. The rider was unharmed.

Thousands of riders making their way south for the Group Health STP.

The bikers will travel more than 200 miles with five rest stops along the way.
