On Wednesday, groups from Sacramento and Seattle will present their arena plans to a group of NBA owners in New York City. In the meantime, there have been a number of developments in both cities.

  • Chris Hansen's investment group announced the results of their season ticket waitlist. They received requests for 44,000 full season tickets, 268 suites, and had 983 businesses interested in sponsorship. 32,000 of the ticket requests came in the first 24 hours.
  • A Sacramento group called Coalition for Responsible Arena Development intends to file a lawsuit blocking a Sacramento arena. The group saws the current arena proposal violates laws and has resulted in unlawful gifts to public officials and a misuse of funds.
  • At the same time, Seattle's ILWU filed a notice to accelerate the review of their appeal of the Seattle arena case.
