Olympia, Wash. -- Governor Jay Inslee and Attorney General Bob Ferguson are planning on meeting with U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder on Tuesday to discuss the state's voter-approved recreational marijuana use law.

Inslee's spokesman, David Postman says the governor will leave the state on Sunday to attend the inauguration of President Barack Obama. Inslee and Holder are expected to discuss the implementation and enforcement of the law, which passed in November with 56 percent of the vote.

Postman says Tuesday's meeting is the beginning of a longer conversation with the U.S. Attorney General.
