A new study reveals that the 'case of the Mondays' may not be real.

Researchers at Stony Brook University in New York found that moods are actually no better or worse on Mondays than Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

They used a year of Gallup telephone poll data to look at individuals' attitudes each day of the week.

Health Magazine reports that another study found people are actually the grumpiest on Sundays, possibly because the thought of returning to work Monday morning depresses them.
