Three women reported missing after they failed to return from a hike in the Mt. Baker National Forest were located Monday afternoon.

The women were hiking Goat Lake near of Barlow Point, east of Granite Falls.

A friend of one of the hikers contacted authorities Monday morning when the woman didn't come home.

One of the hikers' car was found at theGoat Lake Trailhead.

Snohomish County Sheriff's deputies said the women were located around 1:00 p.m. hiking out on their own.

Search and rescue teams had gathered on the Mountain Loop Highway to conduct a search.
