Richard Sherman s post-NFC Championship Game rant has become legend.

But one season earlier, the rant of the year came from Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Eric Winston, who was signed by the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday.

The Chiefs lost to the Baltimore Ravens at home 9-6 in October 7, 2012.

Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel, who was 9-of-15 for 92 yards, was knocked out of the game with a concussion. Some Chiefs fans who were frustrated with Cassel s performance cheered.

After the game, Winston called out those fans. Watch here

We re not gladiators. This is not the Roman Coliseum, said Winston. When you cheer somebody getting knocked out, I don t care who it is, and it just so happened to be Matt Cassel, it s sickening. It s 100 percent sickening.

I've never, ever -- and I've been in some rough times on some rough teams -- I've never been more embarrassed in my life to play football than in that moment right there. I get emotional about it because these guys, they work their butts off. Matt Cassel hasn't done anything to you people.

If he s not the best quarterback, that s OK. But he s a person and he got knocked out in a game. And we ve got 70,000 people cheering that he got knocked out.
