The NFL has fined Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch $50,000 for not speaking to the media during the 2013 season, ESPN reported Sunday.
Lynch, who leads the Seahawks with 1,257 yards rushing and 14 total touchdowns, briefly spoke to reporters on Friday, but that wasn't enough to prevent the fine.
The $50,000 fine is the fourth-largest of the season for a violation that did not include the player being suspended, the website sporttrac.com reports.
The Seahawks will host the New Orleans Saints Saturday in the second round if the NFC playoffs. The winner advances to the NFC Championship game.
