SEATTLE -- King County Metro Transit Operator Casey Hughes helped Seattle Police make an arrest Monday. Hughes said a man was harassing and assaulting several people at the Northgate Transit Center.

The first thing that threw up a red flag was when he actually tracked a guy down and kicked him when the other guy was not being confrontational, said Hughes.

The 31-year-old suspect picked fights, made threats that he had a gun, and spat on two women, according to Hughes.

From the time that he spit at the ladies it became more of a defensive thing rather than a peace keeping thing, said Hughes.

Hughes tackled the man to the ground and sat on him until police arrived. Officers arrested the suspect and booked him into the King County Jail on allegations of robbery and assault.
