A year-long experiment turned into a best-selling book that s so popular, its lessons have popped up around the globe and groups have devoted to them. The book is a recommended read from colleges, to book clubs and even to doctors offices. This remarkable book is called The Happiness Project and author Gretchen Rubin definitely practices what she writes. Her website recounts her pursuit of happiness and shares uplifting quotes, but Gretchen didn t stop there, she embarked on another adventure. She is exploring on how to make the home a happier place, the result of her new book, Happier at Home.

Gretchen joined Margaret to talk about what inspired her to give up a career in law to pursue her passion for writing (and happiness!)
