Seattle Police need help identifying a robber in Belltown who knocked a man unconscious with one hit.

With the man out cold and on the ground, the robber stripped him of his belongings and then strolled away.

A surveillance camera caught the entire assault.

It happened at midnight on August 24, in an alley on the 300 block of Lenora Street. The 30-year-old victim was walking down the alley when the suspect ran up behind him and punched him in the head from behind.

The victim collapsed instantly, hitting the pavement face first. The suspect flipped him over a few times and stole his wallet, cell phone and shoulder bag.

According to SeattlePolice, a witness saw what happened but wasn't in a position to assist other than to call 911.

The victim sustained a broken jaw and is recovering.

The suspect is described as:

--black male in his 20's
--5-feet 10-inches tall
--240 pounds
--wearing white t-shirt, light colored pants, red baseball cap
