Students at Bonney Lake High School have been released for the day after an anonymous bomb threat Tuesday morning.

The Bonney Lake Police Department is investigating the threat. A bomb dog from the Pierce County Sheriff's Office searched the school but didn't locate any weapons or explosives.

The school was evacuated after the note was found.

Student drivers were allowed to leave and buses were brought in to transport other students.

Anyone with information about the threat is asked to contact the Bonney Lake PD.
