SEATTLE, Wash.- A judge set bail at $2 million for a man arrested in connection to a deadly attack in Pioneer Square last Friday. Donnell Jackson, 44, waived his initial appearance in court Monday afternoon.

Shoreline Community College professor Troy Wolff and his girlfriend were stabbed after leaving a Seattle Sounders game. Wolff died from his injuries. His girlfriend was treated at the hospital.

When police arrived to the 300 block of South Jackson Street Friday night, police reported that the suspect was still standing over the victim.

According to the probable cause documents, the suspect told detectives he is a schizophrenic. Investigators said Jackson told them the victim was a member of a group that was trying to kill him.

Jackson remains behind bars in King County.
