Three Canadian climbers fell 50 feet into a crevasse at Mount Rainer Sunday, critically injuring two of them.

A spokesperson for Mount Rainer National Park said it happened around 3:30 a.m. at Emmons Glacier.

The three male climbers were picked up by helicopter after another climbing party found them Sunday morning.

The two critically injured hikers were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The third climber was taken to another hospital.
