The Evergreen State Fair has rides, food, concerts and fun, but the cornerstone of the fair continues to be agriculture. Farming has been a crucial element from the time the fair launched back in 1908 in Monroe. The fair then expanded through the years to include more events, food, rides, games and activities. The two-week extravaganza takes over the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe nowadays. Linda Neunzig, Agriculture Coordinator of Snohomish County joined guest host Kim Holcomb, along with Don Bailey and his daughter Elizabeth from Bailand Farms, to talk more about the Fair's mission to keep farming and agriculture thriving in Snohomish County and beyond.
