Popular Seattle radio host Bob Rivers has a soft spot for children around the world. For the past several years, he's teamed up with World Vision to spotlight different countries for an annual radiothon aimed at connecting listeners with children they would like to sponsor.

This year, Bob Rivers Show co-host Jodi Brothers and Executive Director Arik Korman took two listeners with them on a trip to India to see the work World Vision volunteers are doing, and to meet some of the children and families who would benefit from sponsorships. The listeners, first grade teachers Laura Weber and Melissa McLean from Cascade View Elementary, submitted a video for consideration along with many other listeners.

Bob, Jodi and Arik joined Margaret to talk about the mission, the India visit and the show's partnership with World Vision. They also promoted the sponsorship radiothon, which will take place Thursday morning on the Bob Rivers Show.
