After months of whispers, rumors and just straight-up star sightings, it's finally real now -- Top Chef Seattle is on the horizon.

Bravo TVannounced Wednesday the reality-show's Emerald City edition premieres Wednesday, November 7 at 10:00 p.m.

Famed chef Wolfgang Puck joins the cast of judges this season.

The 21 chefs who will compete against each other have already been named (click here for that), but not one of their resumes has ties to Seattle.

Starting back in June, Seattleites saw judges Tom Colicchio and host Padma Lakshmi pop up all over the city.

The troupe was seen at Pike Place Market, various Whole Foods and prestigious restaurants such as Canlis (Eater Seattle lists all the places where judges were spotted here).

I love the city, I think it's beautiful, said Lakshmi about Seattle. It's very verdant, everything is green and lush.

It's a great place to be, the Pacific Northwest, said judge Hugh Acheson. It's this amazing, burgeoning food scene.
