April is Public Radio Music Month and stations across the country are celebrating with performances and other special events. Classical KING-FM is having a special in-studio concert with reknowned cellist Joshua Roman on Friday night. Today, Joshua performed for the New Day audience then joined Classical KING-FM evening host Sean MacLean to talkmore about a couple of upcoming events, as well as the power of music to cross boundaries and cultural barriers. Joshua also talked about the work that he andhis family have done to bring music to schools and hospitals in Uganda.

Joshua will perform live in Classical KING-FM's studio on Friday night (April 27)at 8:00pm, as part of the show Northwest Focus, hosted by Sean.
