This is a great time to take a break and go orca watching or zip over to Victoria for some sun, fun and pampering!

Janis Smith, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Clipper Vacations joined Margaret to chat about a variety of events taking place in Victoria, including outdoor activities like kayaking, standup paddleboarding, cycling, ziplining and golf. They also discussed the amphibious Hippo tour, which is a fairly new way to see Victoria from land and water.

Another great event taking place in Victoria is a new exhibit at the Royal BC Museum entitled "Race to the End of the Earth," which recounts the adventures of Roald Amundsen from Norway and British Royal Navy Captain Robert Falcon Scott, as they raced to reach the South Pole in 1911-1912. Janis and Margaret were then joined by Jennifer McKay, Marketing Manager for Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria. Jennifer recreated the Empress' famed Afternoon Tea and shared more about the history of Afternoon and High Tea, as well as the Empress' special tea blend and of course, proper tea etiquette.
