SEATTLE -- It's been more than two decades since the Pacific Little League won State and had a chance at becoming World Series champs. On Tuesday morning, another PLL team flew to California for regional competition.

About 13 players from Edmonds and Lynnwood will take part in the competition. The players, all around 12 years old, held fundraisers for their California trip.

The boys will compete against teams from Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska and Oregon. If successful at Regionals, the boys will go on to the Little League World Series.

TV coverage of the games begins Friday on ESPN 3 at 8:30 a.m.
