Detectives are asking for the public s help to find the people who they say killed a young man who the suspects wrongly identified as a rival gang member.

The shooting happened Nov. 27 at about 2:15 a.m. at 108th Avenue Street and 2nd Avenue SW in White Center.

Deputies found Michael Delfin-Rodrigues, 22, in the street with a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.

Detectives say Delfin-Rodrigues and his brother were walking when they were confronted by the two suspects who accused them of being in a rival gang. As the victims walked away, one of the suspects pulled a handgun and shot at the victims, hitting Delfin-Rodrigues.

The only description of the suspects is two black men dressed in red.
