In two weeks students head back to school, but Seattle teachers are still without a new contract.

The teacher's union and Seattle Public Schools are working closely to get a deal done.

The school board met Wednesday night.

Teachers say they have made progress, but at this point there is still no agreement in place.

The issue of class sizes has been resolved. The SEA says the district proposed adding one student to every class, but that is now off the table.

The big issue now is evaluating student growth in the classroom - specifically testing.
