Moisture Festival

Seattle's comedy, variety and burlesque festival continues through April 14 at Hale's Palladium in Fremont and Broadway Performance Hall. It's a nonstop parade of clowns, jugglers, aerialists, strip-teasers, musicians, magicians and tricksters of all stripes. Some shows are family friendly, others restricted to 18-plus.

This seminal grunge group - the band practically everyone in Seattle thought would be the first to break out nationally - celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, with a new album, Vanishing Point (Sub Pop), and an 8 p.m. Saturday night show at Neumos on Capitol Hill.

Spring egg hunts

Kids scramble for toys and treats at annual egg hunts, which take place at many community centers in Seattle and on the Eastside, in parks, and at institutions such as Seattle Children's Museum. Look in The Seattle Times on Friday for a lengthy list.
