Breaking up has always been hard to do, even more so in today's social media world. Dr. Laura Richardson with Seattle Children's and Start Strong, a national program, offer some simple strategies for parents to help teens safely navigate a break-up:

*Discuss with your teen on how they can be the most respectful
*In most situations, have a face-to-face breakup
*Have a technology time-out
