Sea-Tac International Airport is in the top ten for airports where Transportation Security Administration employees have been fired for theft, including stealing from passengers.

The list of airports was obtained from the TSA by ABC News through a Freedom of Information Act request. The TSA has fired 381 employees for theft.

Sea-Tac Airport is tied for eighth with Newark Liberty and Philadelphia International airports. Each have reported 12 firings.

A TSAspokesperson said that the number of TSA officers fired amounts to less than 0.5 percent of its workforce. It also clarified that the fired offercers were terminated for any type of theft, not just theft from passengers.

TSA holds its employees to the highest ethical standards and expects all TSA employees to conduct themselves with integrity and professionalism. TSA has zero tolerance for misconduct in the workplace and takes appropriate action when allegations are substantiated, read a TSA statement.

The spokesperson said many of TSA's workers are military veterans or active duty reserve personnel, and reports like this taint their reputations.

About 900 TSAofficers currently work at Sea-Tac Airport.
