LACEY, Wash. Six people were hurt in a three-car accident on Interstate 5 near Lacy on Sunday morning.

Troopers say a car coming onto freeway swerved all the way over the left lane and struck a car. A third car then struck the rear of the first car. Two of the cars rolled. One of the them was resting on its side, heavily damaged and crushed.

Fire Department personnel arrived and immediately began caring for six patients; one of the patients was pregnant and trapped in her vehicle.

The patients were transported to Saint Peters, Madigan and Tacoma General by the Fire Department Medic Unit and Olympic ambulance.
