Women Who Rock exhibit
Seattle's EMP Museum unveils its new exhibit, Women Who Rock:Vision, Passion and Power, with a concert on Friday night featuring Star Anna, Shelby Earl and Choklate. The exhibit -- which features memorabilia of well-known women musicians, including Lady Gaga's meat dress -- opens to the public on Saturday.
Bainbridge Island Museum of Art opening
A new museum on Bainbridge featuring art of the West Sound opens with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:15 a.m. on Friday. The museum will be open daily on Winslow Way East with free admission.
Father's Day Brew Fest
Dozens of local brewers will set up shop in Marymoor Park from Friday to Sunday, offering samples of their beer for the Washington Brewers Festival. On Friday, the event is for 21-year-olds and older, but kids are welcome on Saturday and Sunday, when there will be family-friendly activities. Kids' admission is free; adults' admission costs $15 to $25, or $5 for designated drivers.
