Poor Christie. She had a rough morning at the Washington Pet Expo, first when she tried to make friends with a tarantula named Charlotte, and then when a snake named Reggie tried to give her a hug.

Not only did is Christie scared to death of spiders, she's also not terribly fond of snakes.

When Reggie wrapped around Christie's neck, Corbin Maxey, Reggie's handler, said it was because she feels warm to the snake.

You can go to the Washington Pet Expo and see Charlotte, Reggie, Corbin and all the other animals this weekend at the Puyallup Fairgrounds, starting at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. The cost is $12.
