Lunches in Seattle publics schools are a bit more colorful this school year.

Students are being offered a side of vegetables or fruit with their lunch.

The new options are part of USDA nutrition standards, which include more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, along with fewer calories and sodium.

Some kids throw away the healthy stuff, but the schools hope to entice them with new fruits and vegetables every day.

The lunchrooms are also taking away chocolate milk for breakfast.
