A special event brings together some of western Washington's best rock bands, motorcycles and food - to raise money to help critically injured soldiers heal.

Rock and Rally for the Troops benefits the locally-based non-profit, Operation Ward 57 and features a number of bands and others donating their time and performances for the cause.

One of those bands is Jason Kertson and the Immortals. If the name sounds familiar - Jason is the young man who played two guitars at once for our awestruck audience back in May.

Jason and the Immortals performed, then Jason joined Brittney Hamilton, Executive Director of Operation Ward 57 and Rock & Rally for the Troops organizer, to talk bout the event, the work being done to help wounded soldiers heal, and how we can help.

Rock and Rally for the Troops takes place on the Tacoma waterfront on Saturday, August 4th. Click on the link above for more info, or visit their Facebook page by clicking here.
