ESPN's Outside The Lines is reporting that Major League Baseball is seeking to suspend some 20 players linked to the Miami-area clinic that is the focus of a continuing performance-enhancing drug scandal.

Two sources told Outside The Lines that the founder of the now-closed Biogenesis of America, Tony Bosch, reached an agreement to cooperate with Major League Baseball's probe.

A report indicates New York Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez, Milwaukee Brewers' slugger Ryan Braun and Seattle Mariner Jesus Montero are among those that are under investigation.

A source familiar with the case says the commissioner's office may seek 100-game suspensions for Rodriguez, Braun and others. That is the penalty for a second doping offense.

Randy Adamack, Mariners Senior Vice President, said Tuesday the team would have no formal statement, but it is aware of the report.
