With the potential for the Sacramento Kings basketball team to play as the Sonics in a new SoDo arena, one local real estate company is already planning on where the players could live.

Realogics Sotheby's International Realty in Seattle is teaming up with The Dingman Group out of Newport Beach, Calif., to help future Sonics players relocate to the Emerald City. The homes are specifically fit for a basketball player with quality, security, privacy, close proximity to SoDo and extra space.

We're preparing for the Sonic boom in Seattle, said Dean Jones, owner of Realogics. And we're optimistic.

The swankiest home in his sights is a 10,000 square foot, $10 million lakefront home near Seward Park. The property includes a full length pool, basketball court, weight room and cabana on Lake Washington.

It's fit for a king and a Sonic, laughs Jones. Now all we need is a team.

Realogics has a total of 21 homes that would work for the players, one for each of the Sacramento Kings players and coaches.

The Dingman Group is one of the nation s largest athlete relocation companies. It specializes in finding sports players fast housing, schools and amenities on short notice. Chris Dingman has helped relocate Seattle Mariners and Seahawks players, and says he is confident he'll be moving Kings soon.

This is a very different feel, Dingman said. This is a perfect opportunity for these players.
