King County Search and Rescue and Redmond police continued their search Thursday for Redmond resident Ira Thomas Clodfelter.

Clodfelter's employers contacted the police after he failed to show up for work on Monday.

A friend last spoke to the missing man on Sunday, February 3.

Park Rangers located Clodfelter's vehicle in the Rattlesnake Mountain trailhead parking lot on Tuesday evening. The trail is located in North Bend.

Redmond detectives believe that Clodfelter had planned the hike. He recently spoke of hiking in the area, and purchased water and granola bars Sunday morning.

Clodfelter is described as a 28-year-old white male. He is 5-foot, 4-inches tall, weighs 125 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

The missing man was last seen wearing blue jeans, hiking boots, and a blue zip-up hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone who has seen Ira Clodfelter's or has information regarding his disappearance should contact the Redmond Police Department at (425) 556-2500.
