OSO, Wash. Hours after Saturday s landslide wiped out his families home, a Snohomish County helicopter team spotted 4-year-old Jacob Spillers in an ocean of mud.

Jacobs father and three siblings vanished. Now, his uncle is doing everything he can to help find them.

Kevin Ryce flew some 3,000 miles from Scranton, Penn. to help find Jacob s father. On Wednesday morning, he sent a text message to KING 5 News saying on mountain now.

Ryce brought along a photo he took with Jacob after the boy was rescued a photo that is fueling his personal mission.

Ryce s cousin Billy Spillers, a Navy chief petty officer, was living on Steelhead Drive in Oso with his wife Jonielle and their four children. They were watching TV when the mudslide hit Saturday, obliterating their street.

Jonielle wasn t home, so she s safe too, but Billy and three of the children, Brooke, Kaylee and Jovon, are missing.

You have to be out here with them no matter what, Ryce said. I don t like knowing that they're up there still missing.

KING5's Linda Byron contributed to this report.
