The driver responsible for two hit-and-run accidents was taken to Harborview Medical Center for evaluation early Monday morning.
Police surrounded the vehicle at Martin Luther King Junior Way South and South McClellan Street.
Officers finally broke the window and dragged the driver out when he became nonresponsive.
We had stopped him earlier in the evening and he had left his license with us. We knew who he was, but he was driving erratically. We backed off just for the safety as far as we didn't want to get in a pursuit with this individual, but we followed from a very far distance, Seattle Police Captain Steven Paulsen said.
