OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Thurston County deputies arrested six people Tuesday on accusations they ran a check forgery ring out of an Olympia hotel room.

Two women and four men, ranging in age between 19 and 40, face forgery charges.

Investigators found out about the suspected crime ring after a someone at the Red Wind Casino believed a customer was trying to cash a bad check.

According to a Sheriff s Office spokesperson, the suspect told the check had been made at an ID theft lab at the Olympia Inn.
